New Jersey groundhog dies before his big day: reports

 Perhaps it had one thing to do with being interminably inside the shadow of Punxsutawney Phil.

Milltown Mel, a New Jersey groundhog who, similar to his thoroughly known Pennsylvania partner, makes climate expectations every Feb. 2, kicked the bucket just recently, essentially days before Groundhog Day, in light of reports.
